GuigaPaws was founded in 2024 in Zamboanga City with a simple, heartfelt mission: to connect loving families with healthy, happy puppies. What began as a small local initiative quickly evolved into a trusted online space for discovering ethically raised, well-cared-for pups.
Built by passionate dog lovers and tech enthusiasts, GuigaPaws set out to modernize the puppy search experience. Instead of guesswork and confusing listings, families can browse detailed puppy profiles, learn about breed traits, and connect directly with reputable owners—all from home.
By 2025, GuigaPaws continued to grow its online presence, focusing on helpful puppy listings and educational content so buyers can make informed, heart-led decisions. Today, we're proud to be a trusted hub for families searching for their next furry companion—built on quality, care, and connection.

Founder's story
How two dogs helped turn grief into GuigaPaws.
Hi, I'm the fur mom of Nana and Brody. Life was already good, but bringing these two into my world changed everything—they filled spaces I didn't realize were empty.
During the pandemic, I got a dog named Bubbles. She became my shadow and my comfort through some of the hardest days. When I had to return to work and leave her in someone else's care, she suddenly got sick and passed away from parvovirus. Losing her broke me, and I promised myself I would never open my heart to another dog again.
A routine medical checkup at work later revealed I had severe depression. I didn't want to rely on medication alone, so my doctor gently encouraged me to pour my energy into something that genuinely brought me joy.
Nana & Brody
Little by little, I allowed myself to think about having another dog. A few adoption attempts didn't work out, and each "no" stung. Then one day my mom messaged that she had a surprise. Shortly after, a dog owner told me they were outside our house.
When I stepped outside and saw the tiny puppy in their arms, something in me softened. The moment I held her, I knew I wanted to protect her for the rest of her life. I named her Nana. She quickly became my everyday companion, and for the first time in a long time, I was able to sleep peacefully again. She's bright, gentle, and eager to please— learning quickly and rarely repeating the same mistake twice.
A couple of months later, I felt Nana deserved a playmate. A friend agreed to give me a puppy, but with one condition: if the puppy didn't come to me, I couldn't take him home. When I arrived, a little brown pup ran straight to the gate to greet me. He chose me first. I scooped him up, and we named him Brody.
Today, Nana and Brody are inseparable. They didn't just bring joy back into my life—they helped me heal. GuigaPaws grew out of that healing: a way to share the same comfort, companionship, and second chances with other families who are ready for a pup to change their lives, too.
